The regular monthly meeting recommenced in July of 2007 at Mt Barker with David Kowalick as the speaker for the session throughout this year.
David Kowalick (47) is married to his wife Catherine of 25 years and they have four children, Tait (21), Tess (19), Jack (17), and Max (15). He lives in the city of Adelaide, and has previously been a resident of Sydney for eight years and Darwin for the previous four.
He is currently pastoring “The Fish Gate”, in Warradale, South Australia, which is part of the Uniting Church. The Fish Gate is a church plant out of Coromandel Valley Uniting Church which began in 2003. Formerly he was the pastor of the Port Hacking Community Church in Sydney.
David has a Bachelor of Ministry from Tabor College Adelaide and is currently enrolled in a Master of Arts in Church Practice at Tabor Melbourne. He is also a part-time lecturer at Tabor College Adelaide.
David regularly preaches in various places around Australia and overseas at conferences, colleges, camps and other church meetings. He is a board member of Perichoresis Australia.
David has a passion to see people set free by the good news about Jesus Christ. In addition he is a keen angler, bike rider, bird-watcher and bush walker and generally loves the outdoors.
